There
is growing evidence that breathing in other people's smoke (second
hand smoking) is a cause of illness. It can, for example, result
in heart disease and certain cancers in adults. But it is children
and babies who are most at risk from second hand
smoke (SHS).
Smoke Free Homes Scheme encourages people to keep their home smoke
free, therefore eliminating the exposure of children to second
hand smoke
in the home.
