| Congratulations to Janette Cruikshank, became the first person within East
Lothian to register her home as smokefree home initiative
that was launched on No Smoking day on 12th March 2008. Janette & her
husband, Brian, who both smoke, have pledged to only smoke
outside their home. |

sons have been going on at us for some time to stop. They hate

people in the same situation, being a part of the group is a help
everytime you go to lift a fag, it makes you think about letting
everyone else down. It’s nice to share your hard times/failures
and also your proud moments and your success with people who understand
how important they are.”
“The support I have received within this group has helped me through stopping smoking even days after the group if I felt I needed to have a cigarette something that someone had said would come into my mind. I’m proud of how far I’ve come and believe that I wouldn’t have managed had it not been for the support of this group.” |
